[Mac] 여러개의 ruby 버전 사용을 위한 rbenv 설치 오류 해결

Error: Your CLT does not support macOS 11.0.
It is either outdated or was modified.
Please update your CLT or delete it if no updates are available.
Error: An exception occurred within a child process:
SystemExit: exit

맥에서 ruby 여러 버전 사용을 위한 rbenv 설치시 위의 에러문제 해결 방법에 대한 포스팅을 한다.

터미널로 iTerm을 사용하였고, Homebrew는 설치된 상태로 가정한다.

Homebrew는 아래의 커맨드로 설치할 수 있다.

# Install Homebrew
/usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"

여기서 rbenv를 설치하려면 아래와 같이 명령어를 입력하면 된다.

# Install rbenv and ruby-build
brew install rbenv

본 포스팅은 이 경우에 다음과 같은 에러메시지가 나오면서 설치가 되지 않은 경우에 대한 troubleshooting 해결 방법이다.

Error: Your CLT does not support macOS 11.0.
It is either outdated or was modified.
Please update your CLT or delete it if no updates are available.

Command Line Tool(CLT)를 새로 갈아주어야 한다.

1. CLT 삭제

sudo rm -rf /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools

해당 명령어로 CLT를 완전히 삭제해준다.

2. xcode-select 설치

sudo xcode-select --install

3. xcode 앱을 선택한다

sudo xcode-select -s /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer

4. xcode 버전 확인

/usr/bin/xcodebuild -version

 

이제 다시 brew install rbenv를 입력하면 설치가 정상적으로 되는 것을 확인할 수 있다.
